WE Hope these tips help! Stand up, Speak Out!!
Purpose: Our ultimate purpose is to give the elementary school some tips coming in to junior high about bullies, and if they are bullied to let them know they are not alone, there are many people they can go to. We hope they can draw the line between playing around and serious threats, but most importantly we want them to feel safe coming to school, and for them to have a safe learning environment.
- Older kids can be intimidating, so talk to them like any other person
- If you are a victim of bullying, do not hesitate to tell an adult, this includes cyber bullying before it crosses the line of "playing around"
- Though men and females bully in different ways, they can equally be as harmful, so if you feel someone is being a threat to you. SPEAK UP!
